Who is responsible for the information
The information is collected and managed by אוטו פלוס 2000 בע"מ (no. 512888801), which operates the AutoPlus lots at 40 David Pinkas St and 4 Petah Tikva St in Netanya. For privacy enquiries: Rafi, autoplus@bezeqint.net or by phone 053-449-0190.
What information we collect
- Details you give in the form — full name, phone number, and the content of the message if you wrote one. An email address is collected only if you gave it.
- Transaction details — when a purchase or trade-in transaction is concluded, we collect the details required for the contract and the invoice, including identity card number, as required by law for the purpose of transferring ownership of a car.
- Technical information — cookies essential for running the site. At present the site has no analytics tools or advertising pixels. The branch maps are embedded from Google (see “Who the information is passed to” below).
Why we use the information
- Answering your enquiry — in order to get back to you about a car you were interested in. The basis: your request and steps towards entering into a contract.
- Carrying out a transaction — producing a contract and an invoice, and transferring ownership. The basis: a contract and a legal obligation.
- Marketing mailings — only if you expressly ticked the separate consent box. The basis: your consent, and it can be withdrawn at any moment.
Consent to marketing mailings is not a condition for receiving service, and not giving consent will not affect the handling of your enquiry.
Who the information is passed to
- Supabase — storage of the site's database and files.
- Vercel — hosting and running the site.
- Resend — Sending the system's emails, including an alert to the sales team about a new enquiry with the details you gave.
- Google Maps — the branch maps on the home page are embedded from Google and are part of the page's content, so they load when displayed even if you declined non-essential cookies. When they load, Google receives technical data from your browser, such as your IP address, and may place cookies in accordance with its privacy policy.
- Finance and leasing companies — only if you asked for a finance offer, and only the details required for examining the application.
- Authorities — where there is an obligation by law, for example registering a transfer of ownership at the Licensing Office.
We do not sell personal information and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that did not turn into a transaction — 24 months from the date of the last enquiry.
- Transaction and customer documents — 7 years from the date of the transaction (the duty to keep bookkeeping documents).
- Mailing list — until the time you withdraw the consent.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, you have the following rights, and we undertake to reply to a request within 30 days:
- Inspection (section 13) — to know what information about you is held by us.
- Correction (section 14) — to correct information that is wrong or not up to date.
- Deletion — to delete information that we are not obliged by law to keep.
- Removal from mailings — in every message we send, or by contacting us.
To exercise a right: autoplus@bezeqint.net. If the answer you received is not satisfactory, you may apply to the Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice.
Information security
The site is protected by encrypted traffic (HTTPS). Access to customers' information is restricted to authorised employees only, by means of permissions at the database level, and every change to a customer's or a transaction's data is recorded in an audit log. Backups are made on a regular basis.
Cookies
On your first visit to the site you will be shown a choice. Essential cookies are always active — they are required for running the site. Statistics and marketing cookies are off by default and will not be loaded without your approval. You can change your choice at any time by pressing “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. The branch maps on the home page load in any case, as set out in “Who the information is passed to”.
